La pachimetria corneale è un esame che consente di misurare lo spessore della cornea. La conoscenza dello spessore corneale permette di definire l'affidabilità della misurazione della pressione oculare. L'esame viene effettuato anche quale strumento per valutare alcune patologie della cornea, come il cheratocono (mappa pachimetrica), l'edema corneale e nella diagnostica del glaucoma.
